ArabiaGIS utilized its technical expertise to develop an online GIS engine for the municipalities that could be integrated with the municipality website. This engine enables the municipality to have an online GIS interactive map accessible via the web and allows it to offer several informative and business services. Package is being leased to municipalities on yearly basis. Data and engine is hosted on ArabiaGIS servers. This offers a cost effective way for the municipalities to benefit and offer GIS services for the citizens and the public without having to do a high initial investment. The following is a brief description of these services: Municipality General Map A general interactive map of the municipality with available GIS data layers for information purpose. Sample layers that could be published are: Road Centerlines, Water Ways, Parcels, Parks, Zoning, Utilities, Arial Photography, … Municipality Touristic Map Municipality general map with most of Municipality business places and landmarks mapped on the map. Places are clickable to show information on each place.  For example: Hospitals, Pharmacies, Restaurants, NGO… A search engine helps the user to locate any point of interest on the map. Zoning Interactive map for elaborating map zoning (Agricultural, Residential, Business, Recreational, and Public Use) along with restrictions on building according to zones. Property General information This service is available for public, upon click on any property on the map, the zoning information for that property will show along with basic info. Property Tax Account A subscription based services which allow a property owner to check the status of their property and any municipal taxes that are due and have been paid. Advertised Properties for Sale A subscription based service that is offered to those who want to advertise their properties for sales.
